- Weddings at the Rockmart Slate House start at $2,500
- Wedding Rehearsals are the day of the wedding but are also available on their own if your wedding is not at our venue.
- 8 Hours total for the day of the wedding (any additional time will be $150 and hour*)
- This time must include setup (decorating) and breakdown

All food must be brought in by a restaurant or certified caterer. No other outside food is allowed.

Wedding FAQs
How many people does the venue allow?
The venue allows up to 80 people. Please contact us if more people are necessary.
Are speakers available?
Yes, a speaker is available for playing music and a microphone for any announcements or speaking.
What time can we get in to decorate?
We will let you in the venue at the start time that is listed on the agreement.
Can we hang a screen on the wall for video or pictures?
Absolutely! The location just has to be approved before anything is hung from the walls. (We want to keep them beautiful!)
Do you have a dressing room?
No, only restrooms.
Do you have an ice maker?
No, only a freezer is provided.
Can we move the tables and chairs?
Yes, but they must be picked up when moving. Please DO NOT slide them across the floor. (We want to keep our floors looking better than ever!)
Can you remove some of the tables and chairs?
We cannot remove any of the tables or chairs from the venue. For specific request, please reach out to us directly!
Can we bring food made from home?
To ensure events are safe for everyone, we only allow food that is cooked in a commercial kitchen by caterer or restaurant. See our recommended caterer lists here.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
Yes, any beer and wine is fine but NO liquor is allowed.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
We do not have Wi-Fi access at the venue.
Who will let us in and when?
Our staff will meet you at your allotted time, and come back to close up at the allotted time. Caterers can be allowed in 30 minutes early for setup.
Do we have to clean up?
Yes, the venue must be left the way you found it. We ask that:
- Tables and chairs back in place
- The floors be swept
- The tables be wiped down
- Any trash be bagged and put it outside the back door of the kitchen
If there is a caterer, they must also clean the kitchen.
How is the kitchen setup?
The Rockmart Slate House is equipped with:
- 1 Freezer
- 1 Large up right cooler
- Stainless steel sink and tables
There is plenty of work space for any event. Although there is no oven or food warmer. If something specific is needed please reach out to us here.
